The bat boat Tobias raced for 3 seasons was earlier this summer sold to Brian and Pat Peedell, England. Because of that Tobias did not have a boat to race in the Nordic Championship in Uppsala the third weekend in September.
Just some days in front of the race the European champion, Andre Knutsen called to ask Tobias to be his navigator for the race be his navigator in the Nordic Championship. Only days after they headed for Uppsala with an Argo 17 at the trailer.
The winner of the race in Uppsala becomes the Nordic championship 2012. In short time many drivers have rigged boat to the race and the start field consisted of 8 boats. Only one lap after the start the podium was settled.
